พอท่านทราบดังนั้น ท่านก็ได้ปัดสิ่งที่มองไม่เห็นที่ถูกชาแมนชาวอินโดส่งมาเพื่อประทุษร้ายท่านออกไป ในคืนนั้นก็ผ่านพ้นไปได้ด้วยดี แต่พอถึงเช้าวันรุ่งขึ้นก็ปรากฏว่ามีชายชาวอินโดคนนึง โพกผ้าบนหัว ตามตัวมีรอยสักแปลกๆที่ไม่คุ้นตา ในเอวมีกริซเหน็บไว้ และยังพกพาเครื่องประดับที่เหมือนเครื่องรางของขลังอยู่หลายชิ้น

 

เขาบอกว่าตั้งใจเดินทางมาหาพระอาจารย์โอโดยเฉพาะ พร้อมแสดงตัวให้ทราบว่า เขาคือชาแมนที่ส่งของมาทดสอบพระอาจารย์โอ วันนี้ที่เดินทางมาก็เพื่อต้องการแสดงความเคารพและขอขมาในสิ่งที่ล่วงเกินพระอาจารย์โอไปตามธรรมเนียมของคนที่นี่

พอลูกศิษย์ชาวอินโดที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นล่าม แจ้งให้พระอาจารย์โอท่านทราบถึงเรื่องราวและความประสงค์ที่ชาแมนคนนี้ได้เดินทางมาหา พระอาจารย์ท่านก็ไม่ได้มีความถือโทษโกรธเคืองอันใด และปฏิเสธสิ่งที่ชาแมนนำมาถวายทันทีด้วยใจที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยเมตตา พร้อมกับกล่าวว่า "ขอไม่เอาได้ไหม มันล้ำค่าไป" ชาแมนชาวอินโดจึงได้ขอมอบวิชาอันล้ำค่าแทนกริชประจำตระกูลให้พระอาจารย์โอแทน ซึ่งพระอาจารย์โอก็ได้รับไว้ตามเจตจำนงค์ของชาแมนแห่งอินโด เพื่อไม่ให้ผิดธรรมเนียม
